The PENN® Battalion Solid Jigging rod is designed to offer perfect control over your jig. The unique Solid Spiral Armor technology uses reinforced spiral shaped fibres in the blank, which creates a blank with never-seen-before strength in a carbon rod. 

Due to the high density of carbon, you still have a rod with great sensitivity and with light Fuji Alconite guides, it remains extremely lightweight. The spiral guide system provides better stability during fight and if loose line catches the top of the rod, it will easily slide off, lowering the risk of entanglement in the guides.

We take a simple approach to UK delivery, if you're in the UK and spend over ?50 then we'll generally ship your goods for FREE. In some cases there will be a surcharge for outsize parcels to remote areas. We will contact you if this is the case and will endeavour to keep any additional charges to a minimum.

Charges for UK orders under ?50 are:
Small Parcels e.g. hooks, flies, small lures up to 1kg: prices ?5.75 to ?5.95
Medium Parcels e.g. reels, large lures, regular line spools up to 2kg: prices up to ?7.95
Large Parcels e.g. rods, multiple goods, large line spools over 2kg: prices from ?11.95

These charges consider the current costs of packaging, handling and postage for smaller orders.

UK Next Day Upgrade

We also offer an upgraded next day delivery service from ?9.99. This is a next working day service. Please be aware that you must place your order before 1:00pm for next day delivery. Orders placed after 1:00pm on Thursday should arrive Monday. Orders placed after the 1:00pm cut off on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday, for Tuesday arrival. We will always try our best to ship your goods as promptly as possible however there may be circumstances beyond our control that result in delivery being delayed. Please call if you require a Saturday delivery and we will try and arrange? there may be an additional charge for this service. Next day services require a signature? please ensure someone will be in to accept delivery.
